David Hirschauer joins the team at Global Facility Solutions as a Mechanical Engineer
Mt. Airy, MD – January 18, 2012 – David Hirschauer joins the team at Global Facility Solutions (GFS) as a
Mechanical Engineer. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and brings eight
years of experience in mechanical system construction, project management, commissioning and
engineering to GFS.
Prior to joining GFS, Mr. Hirschauer worked for five years as a project manager with Poole and Kent,
planning and managing large scale mechanical construction projects. He also worked at John J. Kirlin as
a project manager and project engineer working on mechanical system construction in the Federal and
Commercial marketplaces. Mr. Hirschauer is a LEED Accredited Professional.
In his role with GFS, Mr. Hirschauer will focus on commissioning and retro-commissioning projects.
