Glenn Abano, P.E. joins the team at Global Facility Solutions as a Senior Mechanical Engineer
Mt. Airy, MD – June 28, 2011 – Glenn M. Abano, P.E. joins the team at Global Facility Solutions as a
Senior Mechanical Engineer. A registered professional engineer, Mr. Abano brings 10 years of direct
experience with HVAC systems design, engineering solutions, operational evaluations, equipment
selection and sizing, operational troubleshooting, facility commissioning and building operations. In
addition, Mr. Abano has performed various design projects involving commercial, healthcare,
telecommunication, data center and disaster recovery facilities. He has an extensive experience in
energy project development, construction management and contract administration for various energy
performance contracting projects.
Prior to working with Global Facility Solutions, Mr. Abano was a Mechanical Engineer with Wick Fisher
and White in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, he performed energy audit investigations to develop energy
savings projects. Mr. Abano also worked for Power Concepts, LLC in New York, NY as a Mechanical
Engineer.
In his role with Global Facility Solutions, Mr. Abano will oversee and manage engineering design
projects as part of our design/consulting services and energy retrofit project services.
